Principal Secretary of Government School Education Department, Mr. Sambasiva Rao has been appointed as In-charge Vice Chancellor (VC) of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. As the present JNTU-K In-charge VC Mr. M.G.Gopal left to Mussoorie due to his appointment by the Government. According to this, Government passed orders here on Saturday. Few days back, Government appointed Mr. Sambasiva Rao as In-charge VC for Adikavi Nannaya & Andhra Universities and, now the Government assigned additional responsibility of JNTU-K to him by giving this appointment.
