Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada has decided to conduct its 3rd Convocation on 20th of this month. According to this, the Vice Chancellor Dr. Tulasi Ram Das has conducted a review meet with all the University Directors here on Sunday. Speaking on this, he stated that the famous Scientist and Sriharikota Satellite Launching branch Director Dr. M.Y.S.Prasad will preside over this convocation as a chief guest. There is a chance to invite the State Governor to this convocation, he said. Doctorate will be presented to Dr. M.Y.S.Prasad on this occasion, he revealed. Students from 2010-11, 2011-12 batches were felicitated with Awards and Degree certificates in this convocation, he added. 'Gold medals will be presented to the toppers from various deparments. We are sending invitations for around 1000 members of prominent personalities, officials, students & parents for this occasion', he announced.
