Hyderabad, June 10th: Junior lecturers have threatened to go an indefinite strike against the decision taken by the government to merge the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) with the Department of Secondary Education (DSE). They termed the decision to be hasty and taken without consulting the stakeholders. The president of the Government Junior Lecturers Association, Mr. K. Srinivasulu said that the merger decision came as a shock to them and no one from BIE or DSE were present in the meeting called by the chief minister on Tuesday to announce the merger.
