Jilted lover attacks on girl student

Hyderabad, July 2nd: A jilted lover attacked on a girl student studying diploma in TRR Polytechnic College at Meerpet here on Thursday morning with a sickle causing severe injuries on lower chin and the lower abdomen. The victim P. Lavanya is a third year student of computer science, the accused Sudhakar is a student of electronics and communication engineering in the same college.

 

According to the sources, around 8.30 am on Thursday, Sudhakar came up to the computer laboratory, when Lavanya was wearing her apron to enter into it. He then took out the sickle which he brought with him and attacked on her. Shocked with the incident the college staff rushed Lavanya to Yashoda hospital in Malakpet. Doctors said that the condition of Lavanya was stable and should be kept in observance for 48 hours.

 

It is learn that Sudhakar was torturing Lavanya to love and marry him from the past few days. On Lavanya saying no to the proposal, Sudhakar approached her parents and asked to give their daughters hand to him for which they too refused. Jilted Sudhakar attacked on Lavanya with a sickle. The parents of Lavanya did not inform to the college authorities or the police in fear. Sudhakar had also threatened.
