Robbers rushed into an apartment and have robbed jewelry of Rs.10 Lakhs here on Friday. According to the statement given by victims, Muttha Anil Kumar and Syamala Kumari live in a flat of Chaitanya Nilayam apartments, Elwinpeta, Gandhinagar. As the couple's  daughter was sick, Syamala went to her mother’s house with her child. Anil Kumar daily returns home by 10 pm after closing his Xerox center at Cinema Hall Road. As his wife, Syamala is not present; he was sleeping at his brother Suresh Kumar's flat in the same apartment from past few days. Similarly, he slept at his brother’s flat on Wednesday night. On Thursday morning, when he returned to his flat, he observed that all the things were scattered in the room. He noticed that screws of the windows were left opened. Therefore, it was declared that robbers might have entered into the flat through the window and robbed jewelry of Rs.10 Lakhs. Later, they managed to fix the window but it was found that some screws were missing. Victim complained to police on this theft. Kakinada town CI Dev Kumar, 2-town Crime police, Clues team examined the incident spot and collected fingerprints.
