Kakinada, Nov18th: Joint Collector of East Godavari District Mr.Kona Sasidhar has conducted surprise visit on LPG outlets on Tuesday and ordered the respective Revenue Divisional Officers to conduct the same in their mandals.

JC found some irregularities of Bharat gas in Jyothi Gas Agency of Kakinada and apprehended it for not maintaining correct records. The agency has failed in taking steps for reducing the backlogs in the supplies and the maintenance was very poor regarding the waiting list of the consumers.

Civil supplies which was also sailing under the same boat of not maintaining the records as per the date and issuing bogus bills to the consumers was also seized. The undelivered stock was not mentioned in the records and JC suspects that the cylinders were diverted for commercial use.

JC also being the collector for civil suppliers directed the Kakinada RDO, Mr. Kishore kumar to collect statements from the consumers. RDO reported to JC saying that he received call from the Bharat gas company of Vishakapatnam informing that they have problem with the software and will rectify the same very soon.
