Union Rural Development Minister Mr. Jairam Ramesh, All India Congress SC division Chairman and former IAS Mr. Koppala Raja visited Kakinada here on Tuesday, as a part of their region-wide tour programme. They have conducted a meeting with all the party representatives & members from the district, here at Surya Kalamandir in Kakinada. Addressing the meet, Mr. Jairam Ramesh has said that experts committee to select capital of residuary AP will be appointed in a week. He said the expert committee will finalise the location. He criticized the new parties indirectly. He stressed that the development will comes to Seemandhra region only with Congress party. It was noticed that very less number of Congress party representatives were attended this meet. Later, he visited the Gandhi nagar park. Some of the party leaders and public requested the Minister to make Kakinada as the capital of Seemandhra.
