Jagan confident to become CM

Kadapa, Nov 11th: Former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's son and Lok Sabha member Y S Jaganmohan Reddy today expressed his confidence about becoming the chief minister of the state in future. Addressing a gathering after distributing the certificates of 'Abhaya Hastham', the state government's pension scheme to the women members of the Self Help Groups (SHG) here, he said ''I will become chief minister of the state with your blessings and wishes even after ten years''. ''I am young and there is enough time for me to reach my target, and one day I will sit on the chair'', he announced amidst loud cheers from the gathering.

Meanwhile, official spokesperson of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee, N Thulasi Reddy justifying the aspirations of the young MP, said '' Mr Jagan has tremendous abilities as he is young, educated and a people-centered figure. There was nothing wrong in Jagan's statement as he was loved by the people of the state. '' Mr Thulasi Reddy also said Jagan's statement would not be considered as disobeying the wishes of the high command and against Chief Minister K Rosaiah as Mr Jagan has been stating that he would abide by the high command's decision and work as per its directions.
