Hyderabad, Oct 27th: The talks between the leaders of Joint Action Committee of Teachers Organisation and the ministers again failed here on Monday. The discussions held between the finance minister Mr. K. Rosaiah and the educational minister Rajanarsimha continued for one and half hour turned to be futile.

Finance minister said that the Government had given an IR of 22% for the teachers which was very huge finance for the government this year. He said that it is not their aim to dissatisfy the employs but keeping in mind regarding the financial position of the state they could not accept any demands till March 31st 2009.

Rosaiah said that after discussing with the chief minister they will come to a conclusion regarding the demands and will try to accept them after the financial year. So at this juncture the government did not accept the demands of the Jacto members as the they have financial implications. After the talks Jacto members announced that the strike will be intensified.
