The Samaikyandhra District JAC called for the complete district bandh for two-days, ie., 29th & 30th of August. According to this, the JAC leaders had released a press note here on Wednesday. The JAC of employees, teachers, workers and all unions & organisations have decided to intensify the agitation, They are conducting the bandh in protest against the reported attack on Advocates from the Seemandhra region in Hyderabad. Plans are afoot to ensure complete bandh by way of closing down the filling stations, stopping the private buses and auto-rickshaws on the road. Speaking on this, JAC Convenor Mr. Achanta Rama Naidu stated that except the emergency services, all other services would be affected for the next two days. He said that it was unfortunate that there was no response from the government for the agitation in the Seemandhra region. 'However, the JAC committed to its demand of Samaikyandhra and the agitation would be continued till the government rolled back its decision on state bifurcation', he added. He called upon the public to cooperate the 72hrs bandh. He noticed that the shopping malls, companies, organisations and all other except emergency services to close voluntarily for these two days. JAC Leaders Mr. Anil Johnson, Jawahar Ali, Swathi Prasad and others participated in the press meeting.
