Young IAS Officer Joint Collector of East Godavari District Mr. Kona Sasidhar has been transferred and posted as Vice Chairman of Vishakapatnam Urbran Development Authority [VUDA]. Recently, tenure of Sasidhar was extended by appointing him as Special Officer in Kakinada Municipal Corporation Office. He worked as Rajahmundry Sub Collector for two years (2005 August to 2007 March) and as ITDA-Rampachodavaram (Incharge) PO. Mr. K.Sasidhar provided very good services as Special Officer in Kakinada Municipal Corporation Office. He played a crucial role in the problematic issue of Sand Tender and brought Rs.33 Crores of revenue by keeping it in trench. He is very dedicated towards the welfare of poor people. He also took stringent actions against officers who delayed in duty time.
