Corporation Special Officer and Joint Collector Mr. Kone Sasidhar stated that Students of Kakinada City are lagging behind in studies than Kakinada Rural students. JC cautioned Principals and Head masters that this could not be neglected at any cause. Joint Collector participated in a meeting with Principals and Headmasters on the progress of 10th class students at Sarvasiksha Abhiyan here on Thursday. Observing the Half Yearly results of Kakinada Students, Mr. Sasidhar resented that only 40% students are bright students. Despite of having brilliant teachers in Government schools compared to corporate schools, this result is not at all tolerable, he added. Collector stressed that ‘You are providing education of your own children in corporate schools, but why are these poor children degraded?’ he questioned. Collector advised that C,D grade children must be adopted and must guide them within 20 days he added. In this meeting, District Educational Officer (DEO) RS Ganga Bhavani, Deputy Educational Officer (Dy.E.O) Nageswarao, DE Ravindra participated.
