Rajahmundry, Nov 28th: Joint collector Kona Sasidhar, held review meeting regarding the issue of new ration cards. In the review conducted on Friday, he said that new ration cards will be issued to the people from 10th of December and conversion of pink cards to white will also be done.
Speaking to media, he said that additional DPL centers will be arranged in Kakinada and Rajahmundry at a total of 6, three at each. 20,000 applications were received regarding the conversion of cards in which already 7,500 were issued. Issue of new cards will start from December in Peddapuram and Rampachodavaram districts.
Submission of applications for the issue of new cards will end by November 3rd and applications are also invited regarding the change of address and addition of new persons in the family. JC also assured to streamline the facilities of gas and look after the complaints regarding the delay in refills.
