Kakinada, Dec 9th: Kakinada Revenue Divisional Officer G C Kishore Kumar today said effective implementation of Right to Information act, 2005 (RTI) observing transparency, has resulted in achieving rapid all-round progress in the Revenue Division and also fetched ISO 9001 certification for the office.

Conducting a training program for Tahsildars and their Office Superintendents on the implementation of RTI orientation and refresher courses on revenue procedures at the RDO’s office here, he said effective implementation of the Act had enabled the administration to come closer to the people. He said the information contained in the revenue records should be made available to those who seek them under the provisions of the RTI.
