Officers has started investigating on how Swine Flu has spread in the city. They conformed that the death of Mr. Durga Rao (22) from Venkatayapalem in Tallarevu mandal is only because of Swine Flu. Then they started discussing, on how he is affected with this disease. District Medical and Health officer Dr. C. Padmavathi and RDO Mr. Jawaharlal visited that place yesterday and conferenced on how the situation is in that village. The officers suspected that Durga Rao would have affected with this disease from the other state people, as he is a contract worker and meets several people who belong to other states like Rajasthan and Gujarat, as they come to learn work here. But deputy project manager Mr. Paramesh said that definitely this would have not been the reason as Mr. Durga Rao has never attended for his duties in the office. Even then treatment is given to those who came for training from Rajasthan. On the other hand family members and people in the village suspect that this might have spread from people who has come for Mahalakshmi village festival. Officers are deeply investigating on how this has spread.
