Notification has been released for the post of Lecturers in Polytechnic College on Contract basis on 31st May, 2010. This notification stated total 104 posts i.e. 38 posts in Zone 1 (Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, Vishakapatnam) and 66 posts in Zone 2 (East, West, Krishna). Candidates who applied for the post were waiting for the call letter in the month of September but did not receive any letter. Finally, call letters were acknowledged on 4th of October which affirmed the interview date as 30th of September. This did not happen with single candidate but candidates across the District who applied faced this trouble. Candidates grieved that posts, which must be given to merit students, might have been filled with recommendations from leaders and relatives. On the other hand, Suryaprakash Rao, RJD of Polytechnic College stated that candidates who did not receive call letters on time could contact directly. Interviews will be conducted according to merit list from 10a.m in the morning till the evening he added.
