‘International Chemistry Day’ was observed here on Tuesday at PR Government Degree College, Kakinada. As a part of the celebrations, A One-day National Seminar on Chemistry was conducted at the college campus on the topic “Our Life – Our Future”. Professor of Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Mr. K.Sudhakar Babu presided over the seminar. Speaking on this, he stated that Chemistry plays a major role for technical development of our country. He explained the importance of Chemistry through a Power Point Presentation for all the students. Later, speaking on this, PR Government College Principal, Mr. M.Satyanarayana said that these types of seminars are very useful for the students to know valuable information about the subject. He stated that the Department of Chemistry in the college has organized many programs for the subject awareness in students. Nagpur Hislop College Professor Mr. Hemanth Pande, Vijayawada Chaitanya College Professor Mr. K.Ravindra Kumar, PR Government College Department of Chemistry HOD’s and other professors presided over the seminar.
