District Police arrested the Inter-state burglars who are responsible for various thefts in East and West Godavari Districts, Tirupathi and Vishaka districts here on Monday. Approximately Rs.6 Lakhs cash, which was stolen, was obtained. District SP Trivikrama Varma arranged a press meet on this at District Police Office. According to him, Payboina Rambabu (32), resident of Satyavathi Nagar in Tadepalligudum of West Godavari District was behind these various thefts. Various robbery cases were already registered on Rambabu at Kakinada II-Town Crime Police Station, Jaggampeta, Vishakapatnam Town stations. Being an orphan, he became a theif since many years. Police tried to reform him from robbery and therefore he avoided robbery for many days. Later, he started coconut business with Vasamsetty Lovaraju (26), resident of Peddada Village, Peddapudi Mandal. However, there was loss of Rs.3 Lakhs in this business. Due to this, with suggestion from Rambabu, in accordance with Lovaraju, they took part in various thefts in Peddapuram, Rangampeta, Rajahmundry. According to the orders passed by Peddapuram DSP K.Kumar, CI Venkateswarao, YRK Srinivas, NV Bhaskar Rao, Nageswarao obtained the stolen property.
