Hyderabad, Jan 11th: The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) on Monday announced that the Intermediate public exams for practical and theory papers will commence from February 3 and March 3 respectively, as per the original schedule. With this the government junior colleges are unhappy and fears that the results in government colleges may be poor if the exams are not postponed.
The BIE secretary, Mr. G Balaramaian, issued an official release on Monday putting to rest speculation that the exams would be postponed after academic activities were disrupted in December due to the agitation by students. However the practical exams will be held from February 3 to 22, theory exams from March 3 to 22 and environmental education exam on January 30, which is a compulsory qualifying subject for all groups.
