Rajahmundry, Jan 21st: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths trapped an administrative office, G. Anand, working in office of regional joint director of intermediate Education, while accepting bribe of Rs 5,000 on Thursday. One V. Samson lodged a complaint with ACB sleuths stating that the administrative officer was demanding Rs 5,000 from his son Rakesh Kumar for giving him a posting order to work in the RJD's office as the collector had given appointment letter as part of filling up SC backlog post earlier.

G. Anand was recently appointed as Administrative officer in RJD, Rajahmundry who previously worked at Intermediate Commissioner Office. According to information, he  had talks with Rakesh Kumar about the bribe and asked him to give him the money at his office. On hearing the news, the ACB sleuths caught the official red-handed while accepting the bribe and Three Town Police arrested him.  ACB DSP Sri Rama Chandra Rao said that they will surrender him in the ACB court, Vijayawada on Friday.
