A District level Committee meeting on supervision of medical and health services was organized at District Collector chamber this Saturday morning. Collector, Mr.M.Ravichandra directed program officers that working progress of medical and health departments must be inspected every 20 days per month. Collector said after inspection of health centers, issues if any must be reported in a particular forum. There will be a District level committee meeting held every month on the noted issues. Regarding the issues noted, if they are any presumptuous actions taking place by medical or para medical officers then disciplinary actions will be taken against them he added. He also said Bin cards must be arranged for checking the preserved medicines during investigation of medical stores. For sub stores, medicines should be supplied every week instead of every month to avoid preserved medicines. Later, he discussed about the sudden investigation that took placed recently. He demanded for an explanation before the committee members in this meeting and warned that this should not be repeated again.
