Six persons were injured in a fire accident that took place in a flourmill at Komaripalem village of Bikkavolu mandal in East Godavari District here on Sunday. The victims were shifted to the Government General Hospital and the condition of two persons was said to be critical. According to the police, the fire accident took place N. Suryanarayana Reddy, 55, of the village was grinding potassium nitrate in his flourmill for making Diwali crackers. A 11 year old boy, B. Nitin sustained severe burns besides Surya Narayana Reddy. The other victims were identified as D.B. Sankarayya (18), K. Tata Reddy (48), P. Eswari (40) and K. Lakshmi alias Tukkamma (50) of the same village, who went to the floor mill to buy potassium nitrate.
