Warangal, July 7th: A software engineer, Buddhe Kiran, 28 who sustained bullet injuries when unidentified assailants opened fire at him on June 2 in South African town of Johannesburg succumbed on Tuesday morning. The news of his death shocked his parents, relatives and the villagers of Arepally, the native place of the victim. As the news spread, hundred of peoples rushed to the victim’s house at Arepally near here and tried to console the bereaved family members.
According to the father of the victim, Mr. Shankaraiah, they were informed about the attack on their son on Monday and informed that he was recovering. As shocking news it was told that Kiran was dead within hours, he said. Mr. Kiran, who was working in South Africa for the last two years, came back to his village in April and was here till June 27, when he left again. It was a great shocking to his elder brother, Mr. Ganesh who was trying to go to SA to be by the side of his brother.
The incident took place at around 8am when the Kiran and his friend were returning to their apartment. The assailants opened fore at them resulting in bullet injuries to both the professionals. It was said that the assailants attacked on the victims to snatch away the laptop, computer and money. The family went through lot of agony as there was no proper communication or information about the attack and the condition of Kiran. They pleaded the government to bring back the body at the earliest.
