Kakinada, Oct 14th: ING Life India has tied-up with District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) for sale of its life insurance products. The DCCB will refer its customers to ING Life India, which has similar alliances with cooperative banks across the country. Making a formal announcement in a function held at the DCCB here on Wednesday, ING Life Director (Sales-Alternate Channels) Manoj Kaushik said his company was keen on developing its network in Andhra Pradesh and it would henceforth have access to approximately five lakh customers of DCCB through its 47 branches.
ING Life entered the private life insurance industry in September 2001 and its products have been successfully meeting the customers’ needs of protection, retirement and long-term investment. DCCB Chairman S. Kukkuteswara Rao said the partnership with ING Life India was a significant development as the bank could now offer life insurance products of a major player in the market. DCCB Chief Executive Officer Ch. Siva Koteswara Rao said the bank was established in 1917.
