Hyderabad, Nov 22nd: A 24 year old Indian girl Vemula Sushma was found dead in a suspicious manner at her home in America on Friday morning. Her death was informed to the parents by her friend Harika through phone.
According to the police, Sushma was inhabitant and daughter of Mr.Kanaka Raju, retired Transco Engineer, living in Hyderabad. She completed her Engineering and was married to Goli Suresh in April 2007. The Couple left to California in America in December 2007.
Sushma’s father said that, their daughter was strong willed and will not commit suicide at any cost. They received phone call from her few days back and informed that she was fine and happy. He suspects Suresh and his family members as they did not take a single call from them after Sushma’s death.
Victim’s brother Vamsi was supposed to leave for US this month to pursue his MS. With the news of his sister’s death he was disturbed and all the family members were under shock. “The death needs to be probed”, said one of Kanaka Raju’s friends.
