Kakinada, Jan 2nd. State defence minister Mr M.M Pallam Raju organized a press meet at his residence on Friday. He raised discussion about the external threats of the country. He disclosed that, the country has taken appropriate steps to bring pressure on Pakistan through the international community for its involvement in terrorist’s attacks in Mumbai last November. He also said that India is not for war with Pakistan and if situation demands the government will take a decision over the issue.
A panel of three members for the armed forces was formed by the defence minister. The panel consists of home minister Mr. P. Chidambaram, defence minister and the minister of external affairs Mr Pranab Mukherjee. The initiative will benefit 13 lakh personnel in the armed forces. He promised to clear all the tenders by the end of April. Due to financial crises in the country the establishment of SEZ industries was pending. He said that initiative steps for the development of the same will be taken with in few months.
