JNTU-K Vice Chancellor Prof.Allam Apparao stated that India is the only country known for its diversified ancient culture. JNTU-K celebrated ‘Cultural Day’, as part of the week long celebrations of its Second Anniversary here on Thursday. Speaking on this, Prof.Apparao said that Indian culture is beyond description and one cannot define it in words. Another chief guest Mr. Dr.K.Venkata Sivaya (I.A.S) said that Science and Engineering subjects have evolved from the theories of Ramayana and Mahabharata as their foundation. Research on our Indian history teaches values and principles to a modern student he added. Mr. I.V.Krishnamacharyulu of Sathkalavahini said that participating in sports and cultural programs keeps mentally strong. Registrar Prof.V.Ravindra also spoke in this program.
