An order has been passed under Section-30 on Wednesday that any kind of assemblies and processions on the public roads or in the public streets or main road is not allowed to conduct without permission from District police. Orders have been passed under Section-30 in the five divisions under the purview of District Police and four sub divisions under the purview of Rajahmundry Urban District. This order will be implemented from 23rd of this month morning 6am up to 30th midnight of this month i.e.; 8 days. Rajahmundry Urban District SP, District In charge SP, Mr. Umapathi advised that permissions must be taken from respective D.S.P to conduct any programs where marriages and death cases are exceptional. Government is gearing up to maintain law and order on 24th of September as the judgment in the Ram Janma Bhoomi - Babri Masjid case is expected to be delivered. DSP, Mr. B.Lakshmanarao in a statement here said that Section-30 would be implemented in Kakinada, Pitapuram Urban and Rural, U.Kothapalli, Gollaprolu, Talarevu, Kajuluru, Karapa, Peddapudi, Timmapuram, Samarlakota mandal.
