Indira Kranthi Patham (IKP) Employees started relay hunger strike here on Tuesday in front of the Collectorate in Kakinada by demanding Government to provide Job security for all IKP employees. Supporting them, District Employees Union President, Mr. Thota Ashok Bharat presided over the strike. Speaking with media persons, he stated that Government is not providing any job security for IKP employees who are giving their services since many years. He said, this protest will continue on Wednesday also. He also demanded Government to provide job security for all the IKP contract employees by making their jobs permanent. M.Raja Kumari, D.Lakshmi, S.Priyadarshini, Prasanthi, Hema, Jayanthi Raj, Krishna, Nagarjuna, Jilani & others took part in the protest.
