Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS), Kakinada Chapter in association with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada, is conducting a National level seminar on 2nd of October at JNTU-K meeting hall in Kakinada. According to this, Indian Geotechnical Society Chairman, Mr. A.Sri Ramarao released a press note here on Thursday. He said, the motto of this seminar is to create awareness in young Civil Engineers about the Building constructions on soil. He stated that the seminar is being conducted on the occasion of 127th Birth Anniversary of the Great Geologist & Father of Soil Mechanics, Legend Karl Terzaghi. Buildings, Roads & Dam Construction on soil are the topics going to be explained by experienced Geotechnical Engineers in this seminar he added.
