ID liquor victims discharged

Kakinada, Jan 29th:  A total of 316 ID liquor victims were discharged from the government general hospital here on Friday by the hospital authorities after providing prompt medical treatment. The victims were admitted in the hospital here a few days ago in a serious condition by consuming illicitly distilled liquor. However as the condition of 20 more is not yet safe, the authorities are continuing the treatment.

The doctors further said that the condition of two of them was crucial and even some of them were facing eye sight problems. While 19 victims are getting treatment at a corporate hospital in the city. The hospital superintendent, Dr. M.B.R Sharma, said that they discharged the victims after ensuring that their health condition turns normal. The authorities released the patients after taking an acknowledgement from them that they will not consume any alcoholic drinks or liquids in future and take all care about their health and family.
