ICU with national standards have been started for newly born infants here in Government General Hospital, Kakinada. District Collector Mr. M.Ravi Chandra has participated in this inaugural this updated ICU here on Sunday. This block was built in the year 2009 with Rs.84 Lakhs RCH-2 funds. However in teaching hospitals, ICU must be with national standards. Therefore, it has been modernized as special ICU with 40 beds and new baby warmers. GGH Superintendent, Mr. Kameswarao stated that it has been modernized to make available for common people also. Former RMC Principal Mr. Vikram Kumar also inaugurated the Nutrition center arranged in 2nd floor. In this program, DM&HO Mr. Vijay Kumar, RMC Principal Mr. Sriramulu Naidu, Deputy Superintendent Mr. Venkata Buddha, Executive Engineer Mr. Praveen Kumar, JE Mr. Chakravarthy, DCSRMO Mr. Ravi Kumar, Pediatrician Department Head and Doctors Mr. MS Raju, Constructor Mr. Prakash and others were present.
