Kakinada, Jan 11st: Huge number of petitions were received at the grievance cell conducted by the district administration here at District Water Management Agency (DWMA) on Monday. Nearly 250 petitions were received by the authorities relating to several issues. On the other side nearly 20 phone calls were received by East Godavari District collector, Mr. Gopala Krishna Dwevedi under “Dial Your Collector” program. Many of the grievances were solved by the concerned authorities on the day.
Speaking on the occasion collector said that the grievance once received by the cell should be cleared and it should not hit the grievance again. He ordered the Social Welfare officers to transfer the scholarships of SC and ST students into their accounts as soon as possible. He ordered the education department officials to conduct special classes for Class X students to cover the syllabus that was lagging behind with the closure of schools due to Telangana agitation. JC Kona Sasidhar, AJC B. Rama Rao, DRO M. Mohan Raju, DWAMA PD Ravi Kumar and others participated in the grievance cell.
