The Union Minister of Human Resources Development, Mr. M.M.Pallam Raju will lay the foundation stone for the construction of Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) which is to be built at Thondangi. The foundation stone laying function will be held Today in the premises of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTU-K) at 10am. The representatives of Tata Consultation Services (TCS), GMR group, Accenture and other companies will participate in this program. This IIIT is to be constructed in an extent of 100 acres of land with all the modern equipments & facilities at Thodangi, Kakinada rural. A total Rs.128 Crores of funds are proposed to this project, out of which 50 per cent will take care by the Central Government and 35 per cent by the State Government and remaining 15 per cent by the Corporate Companies. Ministers Mr. Kishore Chandradev, Mr. Raghuveera Reddy, Mr. Thota Narasimham and MPs, MLAs, MLCs & other respective officials are going to participate in this program. All are cordially invited for this program.
