Rajahmundry, Aug 22nd: Homeo pills were given to children, women and the aged to prevent the influenza, a virus which leads to swine flu under the aegis of the Alluri Ramalingaiah Government Homeo hospital at Lalacheruvu here on Saturday. Taking part in the local program, the local MLA, Mr. Routhu Surya Prakasa Rao, advised people to take the homeo pills to help keep away swine flu. He asked people not to panic after finding symptoms of cold, cough and fever and said that these were seasonal ailments.
However he cautioned them to take medical advice if they found symptoms to be serious and persistent. The hospital medical superintendent, Dr. R. Anand Rao, said that they were supplying homeo pills free of cost. He said that they were organizing health camps at several places in the city to give pills and bring about awareness among the general public on swine flu. He said that so far, 3,000 pills were distributed.
