Selection of Home Guard posts in District Police Department concluded here on Wednesday. These selections were commenced on 7th of this month and were concluded on Wednesday with Women’s Selection on final day. Eluru Range DIG Surya Prakash Rao, District SP Trivikrama Varma, Rajahmundry Urban District SP Uma Pathi, Home Guard Commandant Saarangi Paani, DSC Koteswarao, Kumbha, Meher Babu, Trained DSP and CI examined in these selections. In these selections, total 1194 were eligible out of 2320. However, based on the tests conducted during three days, final shortlist of the candidates has not been announced yet. On the final day, 93 Men and 27 Women were selected on the last day.
