Kakinada, Jan 28th: Pragathi public school, Venkatnagar has received a hoax call about placing a bomb in the school premises. The incident took place in the morning hours after completing the morning prayer. On hearing the news a lot of confusion took place in the school premises and every one got scared.
According to the sources provided by the police, one of the lady staff received a call from an unidentified person stating that a bomb is placed in the school premises. The lady informed the same to the management. With this news, the management and staff became alert and have sent all the students out of the school premises. Later, the management informed the news to the police.
Two town S.I Ahamed Ali and Sarpavaram S.I Raja Shekar reached the spot along with bomb disposal squads and sniffer dogs. Asking the staff to vacate the place, the police has searched the school more than one hour. Finding no bomb in the school they concluded the call to be hoax. S.I Ali said that will identify the number and will find the person very soon.
