Lions Club, Kakinada has donated Rs.50,158 funds to Uttarakhand Flood Victims, here on Tuesday. According to this, Lions Club Ex Governor Mr. Badam Balakrishna, Presidents Mr. K.K.Mehta, Mr. Pydah Krishna Rao, Mr. G.V.S.Gandhi, Mr. Degala Ramesh, Mr. Sethu Madhava Rao, Mr. Pulavarthi Kumar and Mr. Karuturi Srinivas were met the District Collector at her chamber and given the DD of amount Rs.50,158. Speaking on this, the District Collector Mrs. Neetu Kumari Prasad appealed to people to come forward to help the flood victims of Uttarakhand by giving donations. She said donors can give cheques or cash to Indian Red Cross Society and can avail income tax exemption under section 80 G.
