Kakinada, April 21st: District election authorities have set up help desks at various places in the district for the benefit of the voters to provide them with necessary information about the Phase II polls scheduled to be held on April 23. As a measure to avoid the disappointment of the voters on disappearance of their names from the electoral rolls, the election authorities have made this arrangement. According to this help desk, the voters can know in advance about their actual polling station before reaching any other polling station.
Places in the district where the help desks have been set up include Rajahmundry, Ramachandrapuram and Kakinada. These help desks will be operating from 10am to 6pm on Wednesday and Thursday. This is the first time in history of election that such kind of help desks has been opened by the commission. At Kakinada the center is opened at Sarvashiksha Abhiyan, Masid Center, Kakinada-1.
