Guinness world record by “Ghazal Srinivas”

     Hyderabad, Nov 13th: Kesiraju Srinivas who was popularly known as “Ghazal Srinivas” has entered into “Guinness Book of World Records” for this excellent performance in singing Ghazals in 76 different languages in the program held at Gandhi Hills in Vijayawada on june 2nd.

     Awarder has sung the Ghazals composed on Mahatma Gandhi which were translated into 76 different languages. He sat for the record on June 2nd and completed them at early hours of June 3rd.  Srinivas received the certificate from the Guinness authorities who awarded him the certificate under the “Most languages sung in a concert” category.

    In this occasion meeting was organized at Hyderabad on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion Srinivas said that he was very much inspired by the speeches of Gandhiji and his tools of Non-violence. He was planning to break his own record by singing in 150 languages at a live court.

    M.P Lagadipati Rajagopal has awarded the certificate to Srinivas and said that singing is the best weapon to insert in the hearts of the people to make them know about the importance of Gandhi’s policies regarding Non-violence.
