Hyderabad, May 1st: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released group 1 results on Friday. 392 candidates were selected for the available 196 posts. The public commission is likely to conduct interviews from May 20 to second week of June. According to the commission chairman , Dr. Y. Venkatarami Reddy each day interviews will be conduced for 20 candidates and grading will be implemented to maintain transparency instead of usual practice of giving marks.
A single board of 12 members will conduct interview and allot grades based on the performance on the candidate. A candidate who gets A-grade will get between 61 to 75 marks. A candidate who falls under grade-F will be given marks between 11 and 20. Meanwhile differences cropped between one of the committee members, Mr Tale Bhadraiah and the chairman over the decision taken by the chairman to conduct interviews by a single board. Chairman said that the decision was accepted by majority of committee members since it has no scope for malpractice.
