Kakinada, Dec 14th: Greater arrangements are going on for golden jubilee celebration of State Institute of Fisheries (SIFT). The celebrations will be conducted on 16th and 17th of December. Honorable Governor N.D. Tiwari is going to inaugurate the golden jubilee celebration as a part of special visit to the district.
Retail fish outlet is going to be inaugurated by Cabinet Minister Aravind Kumar on this occasion. With this outlet the fishes will be available to the common man at retail prices. Fisheries department is also making arrangement to start fast food items stall in this outlet. In addition to this Fish Cutlets and fish Samosas will be sold.
Speaking to the media persons, Principal Y. Prakash Rao said that with this new outlets employment can be created to many uneducated fisher flock women. “The training for the same is already in the process”, he said. District collector, Incharge SP Ranganath , RDO Kishore Kumar will also look after the arrangements.
