Ramzan was celebrated grandly in the city, yesterday by our Muslim brothers. People attended on a mass scale to celebrate this festival grandly by offering prayers at Eedhga Maidan near JNTU, Kakinada. On this occasion, speaking to the crowd Rizvi said destruction of the entire world in the year 2012 is a misconception. Allah has clearly described about this in Quran, he added. God is present in everyone, so by helping others we can get closer to him, he added. Later some priests and heads preached about the miracles of Allah. Along with Big Masjids in Kothuru, Kothapeta, Jaganaickpur, MainRoad all other small Masjids also celebrated Ramzaan very grandly. MLA Dwarampudi Chandra Sekhar also attended for the program in Eedhgaa Maidan and Congardulated everyone saying Eedh Mubarak. Muslim youth collected funds to help Victims of Assam and showed their kindness.
