Grand launch of 104 services

Kakinada, Feb 13th: Aiming to provide better medical services to the people of rural and semi urban areas, government has taken up the 104 services in the state. These services alternatively known as HMRI (Health Management Research Institute) services were grandly launched in the state on Friday. By waving the green flag social welfare minister Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose has grandly launched these services here on Friday at a program organized at zilla parishat center. Mr. Subhash Chandra Bose attended as the main chief guest for the program.

 

Mr. Bose enquired about the services from the concerned officers. He examined all the vehicles and the equipments provided in them. Besides medicines and diagnosis equipments vehicles were also provided with television sets. Programs relating to the 104 services and its benefits will be displayed in these televisions to bring awareness among the people about the services. All over the district at a total 33 vehicles were sanctioned by the government. 17 vehicles were put in use on Friday. According to the information these vehicle will be visiting the villages twice a month and will carry medical tests on sugar, TB and many more. Medicines will also be provided to the needy.

 

Zilla parishat chairman Ch, Venugopala Krishna, MLA’s B. Krishnarjuna Chowdary, K. Chittibabu, Dammati Venkateswarlu, Mayor Saroja, DM & HO Dr. Vijaya Kumar, RDO Kishore Kumar, GGH superintendent M.B.R Sharma and many more participated in the program.
