A grand entreaty was given to lord Ganesh, yesterday everyone all throughout the city actively participated in Ganesh Idols immersion festival. They celebrated this feast by decorating the Ganesh Idol carriers and organised a band for Ganesh procession every where in the city. Devotees has given a grand sendoff by dancing, singging and enchanting throughout the streets of Kakinada. This year idols made of sand and other environment friendly materials were increased. An echo saying "Ganapathi Bappa Moria" was heard everywhere. Finally all the idols in the city were brought to the immersion place in Jagannaickpur. Immersion place was filled with the crowd of devotees and its was a treat to everyone eyes to see that immersion of Lord Ganesh made the crowd spellbound. Thus Ganesh immersion ended peacefully.
