Kakinada, Mar 19th: The school education authorities are likely to introduce grading system from the ensuing SSC exams. The new system is likely to replace the present practice of awarding classes like first, second and third in the state. For the first time the system is going to be implemented on the students who are appearing for the SSC exams that are scheduled from March 22 to April 8 this year. Spot valuation for the answer scripts will commence from April 10. The students will get grades for their performance on the exams.
According to the system, students who secure above 75% marks in all the papers will be awarded with grade A and those who secure above 60% and below 75% will get grade B and those who secure between 50% to 60% will get grade C and between 35% to 50% will get grade D and who secure below 35% will be awarded with grade E considering that they failed the exam. In East Godavari as many as 76,048 students are going to appear for the exams at 322 examination centers.
