Private electricians belonging to East-west Godavari areas need not go to far locations for technical wire men supervisor test. Examination will be conducted at Government Polytechnic College, Kakinada as proposed by Mr.G.V Ranganath, Officer of State Board of Technical Educational. In 1958, there was a examination center in Kakinada Government Polytechnic College. For the trained electricians, one day theory examination and other day practical examination was conducted in this center and certificates were given to the toppers. Due to some defects in conducting examinations and rumors spread, this examination center was banned from past 15 years. From then, all electricians from East-West Godavari were attending the examination at Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada. Problems faced by the candidates were brought to notice of MLA Dwarampudi Chadrasekhar Reddy by President of Electrical Workers and Re-winder Electricians, RVVK.Krishna Kumar. MLA got to know the importance of this examination center and forwarded this proposal to higher officers of Hyderabad. With the help of MLA's proposal it was sanctioned from 2010-11 that examinations will be conducted here. On this occasion Krishna Kumar thanked MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar for taking his proposal into consideration.
