Kakinada, Dec 17th: Two day District tour of state governor Tiwari was concluded on Wednesday. In his district tour, governor has participated in many programs conducted at Rajahmundry, Kakinada and Konaseema. He also participated in many inaugural functions of various institutions.
Governor participated in inaugural functions of Petro University of Rajahmundry and KIMS engineering college in Konaseema. He also laid the foundation stone for the Old age home for senior citizens under Red Cross Society at Vakalapudi in Kakinada. He delivered interesting speeches in all these occasions particularly relating to human relations.
SIFT golden jubilee ends
Golden jubilee celebrations of SIFT was also concluded on Wednesday. Speaking in the Valedictory function, zilla parishat chairman, Mr Ch Venugopala Krishna wished that SIFT should grow as a premier research institute at national level from the present status. He expressed his happiness over the participation of the governor Mr. N.D. Tiwari in these celebrations. Later he distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions conducted on the occasion.
