Gopal Mitra working in the premises of Animal Husbandry department participated in a strike to get their problems solved. Yesterday they organised this strike infront of Collector office demanding for Job security. They demanded to provide them with a salary of Rs.10,000/- per month. They also demanded to allocate 30% of seats as Veterinary assistants for Intermediate BiPC students and to provide them with a general insurance of Rs.3 lakhs for their death in service. They also demanded for PF and ESI facilities.
