Actor & Writer Mr. Gollapudi Maruti Rao has stated that, 'after Madras, Kakinada is the good place where people gives more importance for art in South India'. Thats one of the reason, it is called as 'Second Madras', that he stressed. Yesterday, he has participated in a program, which was arranged at Andhra Sahitya Parishad Bhavan in Kakinada. This program was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Dantu Surya Rao here. Speaking on this, Mr. Maruti Rao has explained about the importance of art & Telugu literature. Later, he had reviewed the oldest historical books (Thala Patra Grandhalu) at the bhavan.
